RESPONSE: Yeah. Absolutely.
RESPONSE: Healthy enough.
RESPONSE: Yeah. I think so. (pause) I mean, it’s not like I’m at the doctor all the time.
RESPONSE: You mean healthy like physical healthy? Or do you mean healthy like happy all the time? Because no one’s happy all of the time.
RESPONSE 1: I would consider myself healthy.
RESPONSE 2: (scoffs) Really?
RESPONSE 1: What?
RESPONSE 2: Are you kidding? You’re an emotional roller coaster six days out of the week.
RESPONSE 1: Well that’s true. But I’m not, like, sick or anything. I’ve just got drama.
RESPONSE: I got a flu shot this year.
RESPONSE 1: Uh to stay healthy? Well, I play basketball and I eat a vegetable at dinner.
RESPONSE 2: A vegetable? Like a pea or a green bean?
RESPONSE 1: Oh, you’re one to talk. I’ve seen what you eat at lunch, french fry boy.
RESPONSE 2: Yeah, but my parents make me eat salad for dinner. That’s, like, multiple vegetables.
RESPONSE: I try to stay organized. Try not to get too far behind on my work. When I start to feel overwhelmed, I talk to my friends.
RESPONSE 1: The Five Don’ts. Don’t drink, don’t smoke, don’t do drugs, don’t get bad grades, and don’t date.
RESPONSE 2: Really? Don’t date? That’s a rule?
RESPONSE 1: You’ve met my Dad don’t act surprised.
RESPONSE: I stay involved. Sports and clubs. I volunteer with my church. I think staying involved keeps me healthy.
RESPONSE: Stress.
RESPONSE: Stress.
RESPONSE: Stress is a big one.
RESPONSE: Stress (pause) and acne.
RESPONSE: I feel like half of the people I know are allergic to something. Either that or they’re gluten-free. Not sure what that’s all about.
RESPONSE: Probably just making good decisions, you know. Not eating too much junk food. Not playing video games for four hours straight.
RESPONSE: I think peer pressure is a big problem. I’m not sure if it’s a health concern, but it definitely can lead to some poor choices.
RESPONSE: Puberty.
RESPONSE: I’d exercise more. But, you know, like, fun exercise. Like, mountain biking or kickboxing.
RESPONSE: I should probably stop eating these chips.
RESPONSE 1: I personally think we need more hand sanitizer at school.
RESPONSE 2: I second that. I don’t know how many people don’t bother to wash their hands after going to the restroom.
RESPONSE 1: So gross.
RESPONSE: It’s hard enough to get enough sleep. I sleep a lot on the weekends. But then my parents get mad at me for sleeping in. So unfair.
RESPONSE: I would probably be more open with my parents. Tell them more about what’s going on with me. Of course, I wouldn’t tell them everything.
RESPONSE 1: No McDonalds.
RESPONSE 2: Limited McDonalds.
RESPONSE: Just find somebody I trust and talk to them, you know?
